Using Sources Effectively

In the second chapter of The Banking Concept of Education, Paolo Freire writes "Educating thus becomes an act of depositing, in which the students are the depositories and the teacher is the depositor" (1).

John Gatto backs up my point in his short writing Against School by simply mentioning "School has done... a spectacular job of ... turning our children into children"

Similar to what I have said, Freire states that "Education thus becomes an act of depositing, in which the students are the depositories and the teacher is the depositor. Instead of communicating, the teacher issues communiques and makes deposits which the students patiently receive, memorize, and repeat".
